Chief Operations Officer - £90,000 - Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced operations professional to join a market leading organisation within the manufacturing sector in a newly created role as the Chief Operations Officer.

The salary on offer for this role is up to £90,000 per annum plus an annual bonus of up to £20,000 + great benefits.

As Chief Operations Officer you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the operational function of the business ensuring the efficient day to day running of operations in the company by reviewing and streamlining current processes

You will work closely with the CEO to develop business plans and ensure implementation of business strategy and will oversee departments through regular interaction with departmental heads to ensure appropriate resourcing and staffing levels and initiating clear departmental objectives.

The ideal candidate will hold a first-class bachelor’s degree and have 2+ years board level experience or 5+ years’ experience of departmental management. You will have strong decision-making capabilities and be an excellent problem solver, with the ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential problems.
