The Ashdown Group has been commissioned by a highly successful £500m turnover firm to assist in its search for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer. The role is based in Windsor, Berkshire and is envisioned as primarily office based (3 or 4 days per week).

Reporting directly to the CEO you will have full responsibility for developing and implementing the financial strategy of the firm. You will be a person of the utmost integrity and will provide inspirational leadership to a multinational finance team. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will help to shape the strategic direction of the organisation and will be recognised for your competence, intellectual capability, powers of analysis and sound commercial judgment.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an entrepreneurial CFO to join a hugely ambitious and fast-growing business. The firm intends to grow by 50% over the course of the next 4 years, so this role would suit a highly commercial, ambitious and driven leader with a proven track record of working at executive/board level to drive forward a fast-growing business. You will focus on tightening cost controls and processes to increase profitability and will pay rigorous attention to process, compliance and bottom line numbers.

In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you must be a fully qualified accountant with proven experience working at board level for a sizeable firm (£100m+ T/O). You will have demonstrable expertise with M&A, statutory accounts, FP&A, audit and treasury and will be a meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for building financial processes that improve performance and profitability. Experience in the retail, F&B, hospitality and/or fast food  sectors would be advantageous to your application but is not essential.

You will be a creative and analytical thinker with an entrepreneurial approach and a passion for data driven decision making. In addition to consummate communication skills, you must be enthusiastic and dynamic with the personal confidence and vision required to lead a business.
