Based near Liverpool Street, an insurance industry application provider with thousands of global employees is further expanding its UK operations and requires an additional Change Manager, specialising in client-facing, software delivery, to join their team. With an existing team of 65 professionals in London, they offer forward-thinking solutions to a wide range of insurance industry companies in the London Market.

By utilising the latest cloud-based solutions and a modern work formula, they provide solutions to meet the increasing needs of their clients; they provide insurance tools that increase information availability, to allow faster and more accurate decision-making.

At this vibrant and growing organisation, within walking distance of Liverpool Street station, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, directly liaising with CIO/Director level decision-makers.

The focus of the role is the delivery of new software and the release of enhancements to existing applications; dealing with the impact of change on client organisations in the short and long term. You will face many of the challenges you expect, budget constraints, capacity and capability limitations and resistance to change.

You will be working on multiple projects with internal employees, contractors, external suppliers and client teams and are expected to influence the direction, to ensure success.

It is important to understand the financial services, ideally insurance or the London Insurance Market. It is a unique operating environment, with technical nuances and significant regulation.

You will lead the change delivery function, working directly with clients as a key point of contact. You will build strong relationships by attending client meetings.

To be suitable for this role you will need to demonstrate all of the following:

  • Change Management as a career
  • Working knowledge of the regulated financial services, ideally insurance
  • Confident communication skills, both written and oral, able to influence talented negotiators
  • Willing to embrace travel, around 2 weeks in every 6 months, to meet teams in India

This is an opportunity to progress to a senior position with increased responsibility. The starting basic salary for an IT Change Manager with the above experience is between £65,000 and £80,000.  This salary can rise in line with the delivery of your performance objectives.
