C# Development Manager - £65,000 - Hybrid working
A highly successful, global business with offices across the UK are looking for a people focused Software Development Manager to join their team. As the IT Lead you will support, coach and manage a small team to provide dynamic, bespoke software solutions to the business. This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Software Developer, Software Engineer or Programmer that enjoys a leadership role that encompasses project management and team management.
The ideal candidate for this IT Manager role will have background and proven capability across software development and programming; ideally in C# or Delphi. As the Software Development/ IT Manager you will be responsible for future proofing their bespoke software systems; transitioning them from older technologies such as Delphi across to C#/ .Net. You will have the autonomy to take ownership for their product roadmap; ensuring they are able to maintain a competitive edge.
Key responsibilities of this IT Manager role will include having full oversight and ownership of the IT function; managing a Software Developer and Infrastructure Engineer to ensure that all IT systems are fit for purpose and effective. You will also lead on a range of IT projects from conception to delivery; collaborating cross-departmentally to design and develop IT systems supporting business processes.
This IT/Software Development Manager role is highly visible and vital to the success of this global business. You will need to have great relationship building and stakeholder management skills alongside excellent technical capability. Perhaps you have worked across software development previously but are keen to move into a more leadership focused position- this position could be for you.
Essential skills:

The salary on offer for this role is up to £65,000 plus benefits.
