A global household name is looking for a personable and articulate Business Intelligence Developer to join its data team, based in London. Please note the organisation embraces flexibility so you will be able to work from home 3 days per week.

In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you MUST be a personable BI Developer with demonstrable expertise building, maintaining and developing SQL databases. Your experience will include a deep understanding of SQL, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS, while experience with (or a willingness to learn) Azure would be advantageous to your application as you will build and optimize ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets, in Azure.

In this role of significant responsibility, you will leverage your deep understanding of data, statistical modelling, SQL and business intelligence tools to gain commercial insights and improve corporate decision making. Working in a fast-paced environment you will work with large complex data streams and be passionate about solving business problems through data-driven decision making.

You will work with the team to create data pipelines and reporting infrastructure through which statistical modelling and analysis can be delivered and will analyse data to drive product development and optimize business strategy.

You will also have demonstrable expertise with SQL databases and will ensure high levels of performance and security. You will work closely with the Data Architect and Data Science team on a range of exciting projects and will help to evolve and improve the overall data architecture. You will also architect, build and maintain an Azure data lake for downstream reporting so Azure experience is preferred but not essential.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a data expert to take the next step in their career at a business that invests heavily in its staff and offers a clearly defined career path.
