A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales professional to join a market leading organisation within the manufacturing sector.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the distributor network and exploring opportunities with major distributors with the goal of increasing business and looking for new representation opportunities.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the database of worldwide distributors and to analyse and report on distributor performance to assist on future strategies. Manage own key customer accounts and conduct visits, represent the company at exhibitions and conferences and proactively identify new business opportunities in the industry.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in the industry, hold a chemistry degree and have a good knowledge of organic chemistry. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP B1 is highly beneficial.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £40,000 per annum and an annual bonus of up to £15,000 plus great benefits including enhanced pension and contributions towards training and personal development.
