A well-established, international business is seeking an accomplished AWS Cloud Engineer to join their global technology team on an initial 6-month contract.
To be considered for this position, you must have proven experience in supporting and managing AWS infrastructure. You must also have demonstrable experience working with Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or CloudFormation. Proven hands-on experience in providing Linux operating system support is also a prerequisite.
In addition to this, strong evidence of AWS end-to-end delivery is a requirement, as is being able to handle the entire AWS environment mostly by yourself and being the primary point-of-contact for all BAU/Project delivery workloads. You must have proven experience in production environment administration, as well as the ability to be able to create, review and scrutinize LLD's (where necessary) and to deploy pre-designed LLDs.
During this project, you will be responsible for engineering solutions across cloud platforms, as well as providing support for any complex technical issues within AWS. This business is going through a huge digital transformation on their web and app platforms, therefore, you will be required to set up those new environments within the cloud, design optimised solutions, and work on cost-effective solutions.
