Audit Consultant - ACA or ACCA qualified

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Technical Audit Specialist with expert knowledge in the field of audit, accounts and compliance regulation to join a rapidly growing training business, this role is working from home with travel to client sites in and around Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and North West England. 

 The ideal candidate will have a strong audit background, have the ability to grasp changes and new knowledge as well as the ability to translate this into written and verbal practical guidance for accountancy practitioners.

 Responsibilities:

 In this role you will be performing high quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.

 You will also work with the wider Technical team to answer technical queries, contribute to technical content used for other purposes i.e. training and supply clear and compelling technical materials for marketing and website purposes.

 Please note – this is a client facing role and the right candidate should be able to demonstrate a real passion for building strong client/customer relationships.   You will also be comfortable supporting the Sales and Marketing team as required by representing your technical field in client meetings.  You will work closely with Client Success and Operations team to ensure that you are clear on any specific client requirements and how client success can be achieved.

 Qualifications and skills required:

 

Professionally qualified to ACA or ACCA standard or equivalent with post qualification experience including experience of reviewing audit files or compliance work in practice.

Excellent technical knowledge in the field of audit and accounts and compliance regulation

The ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of the changing regulations.

Excellent commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.

Ability to apply technical knowledge clearly and practically to a range of client firms and situations.

 

This role is home based with travel to client sites predominantly in and around Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and North west England

 

Salary up to £55,000 + car allowance and other benefits
