An international business is looking for an accomplished Assistant Product Manager to join its team based in Bedford. The organisation embraces hybrid working and provides the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week.
Within this role, you will work closely with the Business Support Manager to manage the client's product portfolio. You will be responsible for the complete product cycle including product cost, cost negotiations, SAP administration, delivery and invoicing, and repack requirements. You will also be accountable for creating reports detailing market conditions/trends and competition, as well as maximising revenue and margin for the assigned product category.
In order to be suitable for this position you will be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with proven experience working within a similar position (product executive/supply chain). You will have a strong understanding of business policy, planning, and strategy and be numerically sound. You will have experience with data analysis and reporting. Any experience with SAP management systems or with retailers/wholesalers would be highly advantageous to your application but is by no means necessary.
