Assistant Management Accountant – Hybrid working

The Assistant Manager Accountant will report directly to the Head of Finance to support the wider Finance Department and Management team. On a day to day basis you will prepare financial statements, oversee purchase invoices and business expenses, assist with credit control, manage budgets, bank reconciliation, prepayments and accruals, process payroll and assist with month and year end.
This would suit an experienced Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper with a great eye for detail, who can work autonomously and who is highly organised. Ideally you will be
Partly qualified (ACCA or CIMA) or be fully AAT qualified
Experienced user of Sage and Excel
Confident with month end processes
Have previous payroll experience
Confident with Balance Sheet reconciliation
Strong communication skills – written and oral
The role comes with a salary of up to £35,000 plus generous benefit package including 25 holiday, pension, health care insurance, performance related bonus, birthday off, refer a friend scheme and flexible working. You will be working three days a week remotely with two days based with the team at their modern offices.
