Market leading software house delivering enterprise solutions are looking an Application Support Analyst to join their high performing Application Support team. You will bring with you demonstrable experience from a similar Application Support role and have the appetite to develop your career in this growing business.
In this client facing role you will be supporting their clients, demonstrating a good level of communication - both verbal and written, as well as good technical support skills and the drive to conclude and troubleshoot any incidents raised. Day to day you will also be involved with project deployment, client training, client upgrades and installations.
You should have experience in a similar role supporting bespoke applications and be willing and confident to do the same here. You will use this experience to gain working expertise across the application and how it interacts with 3rd party applications, becoming familiar with the application's underlying data structures and looking at how to identify and resolve data related and application related problems, alongside more straight forward 1st line issues.
To secure the role you must have:
- Experience of software support
- Experience of bespoke applications
- Experience of SQL
- Networking experience and understanding of 3-tier architecture
- Understanding of API's and Web Services support
- Good scripting skills and understanding of Microsoft Windows
Any experience working with Citrix, remote servers or Service Desk tools such as Jira / Service Now, would be considered advantageous.
There is also an on-call rota, which rotates on a weekly basis between the team. The probability of receiving a call is low, but remuneration just for being on this rota is very attractive - at least an additional £3500 pa plus more if you actually take a support call whilst on-call. ( on call rota currently sits at 1 week in 4)
In return for your commitment to this role and the business, you receive a competitive salary of up to £35,000 plus additional generous on call, bonus, private healthcare, mentorship/L&D programme and pension.
