A fast growing IT services business is looking for a Senior Application Packager to join their Bedfordshire team. This is offered as a hybrid role, requiring you to be on site for builds, but able to do packaging work remotely.
The candidate will require to be an experienced practitioner of application packaging, builds, testing and post deployment support including troubleshooting. They will have excellent incident and problem analysis, diagnosis, and resolution skills, with a good understanding of MSI and performing tasks such as creating MSI, files and registry. Along with experience of writing Custom Actions and Active Setup.
In order to be considered for this position, you must have demonstrable experience with application packing tools (such as PACE or Wise) and knowledge of the following:
- MSIX, MSI, App-V, PowerShell scripting experience essential
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM or other enterprise deployment experience technologies essential
- Application tool set such as PACE, InstallShield or WISE experience essential
In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication skills and feel confident liaising with both vendors and end users.
They offer an annual starting salary of up to £46,000, plus paid time off to train, professional certifications (you will be put through your MD100 and MD101 in your first 6 months) and a good further benefits package.
