A government body is seeking an experienced Administrator / Business Support Officer to provide administrative support within the Education Support Services team. Duties will include maintaining IT systems, collating and analysing information, procsessing Fixed Penalty Notices,as well as general administrion tasks..
Based in the Newport area, South Wales - hybrid once completed training. This is a contract role for initially 6 weeks, plus possible extension, (37 hours per week) from approximately 3 November and paying £16.32 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes, and umbrella company charges (PAYE £12.85 per hour). The closing date is Friday, 31st October.
To be suitable for this role, you must have experience working in an Administrator, Business Support Officer, Administrator, Team Secretary or similar role, ideally in a complex organisation, preferably a local Borough or Council. It is essential to have strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, & databases.
