Accounts Payable Clerk - £27,000 - Onsite

A reputable construction firm headquartered in Central London, boasting over 35 years of industry experience, is actively searching for a skilled, approachable, and meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to become an integral part of their team. This role is based onsite.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the businesses' operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the accounts payable function with accuracy and efficiency. This includes processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. Additionally, you will assist in month-end closing procedures and provide support to the finance team as needed.

To be considered, you must have a degree or equivalent qualification in an Accountancy-based subject, have prior experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, have worked with MS Excel and accountancy softwares (such as Xero/Sage), and be a strong written and verbal communicator.
