A highly successful multinational business is looking for an accomplished Accounts Assistant to join its team based in East London. Please note, the firm embraces flexible and hybrid working so you will be able to work from home 2 days per week. This role is an initial 1 year fixed-term contract that may well become a permanent role thereafter.
Working as part of a high-performance finance team you will have a broad range of responsibilities from assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts to delivering a highly efficient accounts payable service to the firm. A key focus of this role you will be to manage and process supplier invoices so previous accounts payable experience is required. In addition to this you will gain broad exposure to everything from preparing the month end management accounts pack – including analysing and reviewing inputs, to assisting with the year end audit.
In order to be suitable for this role you must be a highly numerate and IT literate Accounts Assistant with proven Excel and accountancy software experience. Professional accountancy qualifications are preferred, so please clearly state on your CV if you are AAT qualified or pursuing ACCA or CIMA accreditation. Any experience with preparing management accounts would be advantageous to your application but is not essential.
