With a client base ranging from small businesses to high-turnover enterprises, we provide a wide range of accounts, taxation, and business advisory services.

We are seeking a candidate who has a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice and possesses excellent system skills, including proficiency in Excel (general Office 365), CCH Accounts Production, CCH Corporation Tax, and CCH Personal Tax. Strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role. Additionally, you should be capable of handling certain tasks independently and have a willingness to assist other trainees. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workload, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines, are crucial. A passion for the Accountancy profession and the ability to draft documents correctly are highly valued qualities.

As an AAT Level 3/4 or PQ ACCA Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of accounting and finance tasks, including payroll, VAT and other tax-related issues. You will be responsible for bookkeeping and payroll management, preparation and submission of CIS tax returns, assisting with VAT preparation and submissions, processing and coding of purchase invoices, bank reconciliations, and assisting with accounts preparation for various types of businesses. It is essential to produce accurate reports and submissions within strict deadlines. Additionally, you will handle office administration duties and be encouraged to contribute your proactive ideas to help the business thrive. We are looking for someone with high energy and a strong work ethic.
