A well-established accountancy firm is looking for a driven and motivated Accountant to join its expanding team based in Wimbledon. You will have the flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, FreeAgent and Quickbooks and on spreadsheets. You will tidy up the books for year-end work, prepare VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns. You will also prepare simple limited company financial statements and corporation tax returns
The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified Accountant (ACCA part-qualified or AAT Level 4) or possess an undergraduate degree in Accountancy and have 1-2 years previous experience in a practice environment. You will have strong Excel skills and be comfortable in an environment with large amounts of data. Any prior experience with TaxCalc, Xero, FreeAgent, Quickbooks, or Brightpay would be advantageous to your application.
