A growing technology company operating within the financial services industry/insurance markets is seeking an Accountant for an immediate start.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract paying up to £60,000 pro rata:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
- Financial planning and forecasting including cashflow.
- Production and review of quarterly VAT returns.
- Corporation tax/ VAT/PAYE ensuring tax compliance in the UK.
- Assisting with technical review of new accounting standards, writing up policies and procedures, creating new finance template,
- Complete schedules for month end reporting (receivable, payables, fixed assets register, intangible asset register, accruals, deferred income, prepayments, journal entries & bank reconciliation)
- Work with the auditors, both internal and external, to ensure timely sign-off.
- Manage the account payable process – bookings and payments.
- Liaise with payroll provider monthly for changes to monthly payrolls.
Qualification:
ACCA qualified essential
Accountancy System:
Ideally will have Dynamics BC 365 experience (or Oracle or Sage)
Industry Experience:
Insurance/Financial Services industry experience preferred.
