IT Support Engineer – Greater London/Home Counties - Remote
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with who is confident at 3rd line support to join a IT consultancy, a silver certified Microsoft Office 365 partner, who are expanding due to their growing client portfolio. You will provide 1st to 3rd line support and have experience supporting Microsoft Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, SharePoint and network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS) This would suit someone who would be happy to be remotely based, working 2 or 3 days a week at client sites in the Greater London area. Due to the nature of the role the candidate must hold a driver's licence and have access to their own vehicle.
To be considered for this position you must have solid 3rd line experience with a Windows based infrastructure environment.
Technical skills & experience will include installing, configuring optimising, managing & supporting:
- Windows Server 2016 & 2019
- Microsoft Azure cloud
- Active Directory
- TCP/IP, DNS
- Network switches, routers & firewalls
- Server & network monitoring tools
- Backup solutions
As an experienced IT Support Engineer you will also have a confident & outgoing friendly personality in order to deal with customers on an as-&-when basis. You will also possess lots of initiative and strong problem solving skills as the role will see you working independently as well as in a small team.
