A growing company in the insurance sector is seeking a very hands on and technical 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join it’s well established team of 6.
The role will be based in the City of London (when it is possible to return to the office) but will start off as a remote position. The role holder will lead on 3rd line level remote support (desk side support eventually) whilst leading various infrastructure upgrade projects.
**To be suitable for this position you must have significant experience (ideally in a small/medium sized user environment) in the following at 3rd Line level:**
- Windows Server 2008 to 2016 including experience of building both physical and Virtual Machines
- Active Directory – Proficiency in User and Group Admin together with Folder access Security.
- Outlook and Exchange Server 2010/2016 – this would include on Server Administration
- VMWare ESXi
- Network switches, routers & firewalls –Support of email and Web filtering technologies
- SAN storage
- Antivirus & backup systems – Admin and use at the Server Admin Console.
- VoIP
The salary for this role is up to £50,000 plus benefits including private healthcare.
