3rd Line IT Support Engineer / Systems Administrator – Kingston, Surrey – Hybrid - £65,000 plus bonus
A highly successful software house are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer to join their IT team. This is a really exciting opportunity to join an expanding business and highly experienced IT Operations team. They are in the process of upgrading their core product suite and moving much of it to the Cloud as well as automating many systems administration tasks.
Please note – hybrid working is offered – you are required to be in the office just 2 days per week.
The ideal candidate for this Systems Administrator role will have experience working across Windows operating systems. Any exposure to Linux would be advantageous but not essential. You will be comfortable performing backups, monitoring, patching, upgrading and supporting core business systems and will be passionate about emerging technology trends.
To be suitable for this Systems Engineer role you will have previous experience as a Windows Systems Engineer or Windows Systems Administrator; plus experience with VMWare and Azure Cloud environments. Experience of deploying, supporting, upgrading and monitoring systems is essential as well as basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPN), exposure to Microsoft Office 365 and backup and recovery software.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £65,000 plus benefits.
