2nd Line Support Engineer – EUC – Central London

 

Endpoint, InTune, 2nd Line IT Engineer - £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.

 

A well established financial services business based in Central London are looking for a professional 2nd Line EUC Engineer to provide end user support and ensure the stability and security of end-user computing services across Windows, iOS, and Android endpoints. The role focuses on Microsoft Intune-driven device management, Microsoft Defender threat protection and response, and Azure/Entra ID identity and access controls.

 

Key responsibilities of this 2nd Line Engineer role will include:

 

Providing 1st and 2nd line laptop and mobile device support across a variety of systems and services including M365.

Provide 2nd line support for endpoint, identity, and security issues across Windows 11, iOS, and Android.

Own the lifecycle of endpoint configuration via Intune, including Autopilot provisioning, device configuration and compliance policies, application packaging and deployment (Win32/MSI/LOB and Microsoft Store), update rings, feature update policies, and security management.

Administer Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Secureworks MDR, including alert triage, investigation, machine isolation, remediation actions,

Manage identity and access in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, MFA and identity governance for devices.

Produce high-quality documentation and knowledge base articles for end users.

Support endpoint-related change and release activities, perform pilot/validation testing, and coordinate out-of-hours work as required to minimise business disruption.

 

The ideal candidate for this EUC Engineer role will be professional and customer focused.  You will have gained proven experience in a 2nd line EUC or endpoint engineering role supporting enterprise environments, with demonstrable ownership of complex incidents and changes.  Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) is essential.

 

The salary on offer for this role is £45-£60,000 depending on experience.
