A well-established, international business with offices across the world are looking for a 1st Line IT Support Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous 1st Line a line experience within a Windows environment; perhaps you will have worked as a Helpdesk Analyst, Desktop Support Engineer or 1st Line Technician. Key responsibilities of this 1st Line IT Support Analyst role will be:
Acting as a first point of contact for all IT related requests and incidents and an escalation point for more junior team members.
Log requests; categorise; prioritise and first time fix where possible.
Maintain and prioritise individual workload with a focus on departmental SLA’s
Ensure IT policies and procedures are adhered to during day-to-day work both within the IT department and across the business.
Participate in team meetings, raise issues and suggest ideas for improvement.
Proactively develop user information sheets and promote good practice guidelines including tip sheets, how to guides and new starter information packs.
Assist with Service Desk & Infrastructure projects.
Build PC’s and redistribute hardware as required. Maintain and complete relevant build documentation to an acceptable standard.
Skills required:
Service Desk experience within a Windows environment is essential
Working knowledge of AD and Office 365
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of ITIL would be beneficial
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, particularly over the phone
Good organisational skills
