A highly successful and rapidly growing business based in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey are looking for a recent school or college leaver, or university graduate to join their IT team. This is the perfect entry level role for someone eager to progress their career within IT.
Key responsibilities will include:
1st line support in person, by phone and remotely for workstations/Laptops, and end user applications.
Record, track and document the Help Desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining services central to PC support e.g. Antivirus systems, Windows updates, windows deployment, device use etc.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Computing related degree and/or Industry IT certifications would be beneficial.
1st line call logging and support experience.
Exposure to ITIL best practices.
Ability to communicate technical information, verbally and in writing/diagrams.
Have a calm, methodological approach to troubleshooting and a determination to find solutions to technical issues.
The salary on offer for this role is £22,000 plus benefits.
